It’s the holiday season, which means it’s gig season for musicians. But a quartet of singing Santas (Gary, Barry, Terry, and Larry) are in a bind when their car breaks down on the side of the road. How will they make it to Santacon now??? What will happen to their careers??? And when two good samaritans (Judy and Rudy) pull over to help our heroes out, things only become more complicated as Barry must decide what he really wants from life.

Originally commissioned by Opera Orlando, this one act opera is intended to be paired with Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors, offering the perfect balance of the silly and secular to the sacred and stirring masterpiece. However, the opera can be presented on its own or paired with another holiday classic. Make this opera a new Holiday tradition for your opera company or community group!
