Chance the Snapper is a coming of age story about two lost souls; Chance (an abandoned Alligator) and Kadie (a Parks employee who feels unwelcome in her hometown). Upon discovering Chance, the city of Chicago is horrified and a corrupt Alderman hires Alligator Bob to catch the reptilian menace. While Kadie manages the situation she befriends Chance and vows to help the gator find his home. During their search, antics ensue and Chance captures the heart of Chi City. Based on a true story, this loving rib of the Windy City investigates what it is to be “othered” and the true meaning of home.
